Torino and Pisa go head-to-head at the Stadio Olimpico in round 10 of the Italian Serie A on Sunday. Both sides met in the Coppa Italia round of 32 back in September, with Marco Baroni’s men picking up a 1-0 victory on home turf.
Torino turned in a defensive show of class on Wednesday as they held Bologna to a goalless draw when the two sides squared off at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.
Before that, Baroni’s side snapped their three-game winless run in the league on October 18, when they secured an impressive 1-0 victory over Napoli, one week before edging out Genoa 2-1 on home turf.
Torino have picked up 12 points from their nine Serie A matches so far to sit 13th in the league standings, level on points with 12th-placed Lazio.
Like this weekend’s hosts, Pisa were involved in a share of the spoils last time out when they played out a goalless draw with Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico.
Having gained promotion from Serie B last term, Pisa have struggled to impose themselves in the big league, as they have failed to win any of their nine Serie A matches, losing four and claiming five draws so far.
With five points from the first 27 available, Alberto Gilardino’s side are currently 17th in the Serie A table, level on points with 18th-placed Hellas Verona.

Torino vs Pisa Prediction
Following their rocky start to the season, Torino have upped the ante in recent weeks and will head into Sunday’s game in high spirits.
Baroni’s men take on a floundering Pisa side, who are yet to find their feet in the top flight, and we are backing them to secure all three points in front of their home crowd.
Prediction: Torino 2-0 Pisa
