Tony Hawk's Son Riley Hawk Shares Pic of Baby Boy With Frances Bean Cobain

Tony Hawk’s son Riley Hawk is skating smoothly into parenthood.

Nine months after Riley, 32, and his wife Frances Bean Cobain—the daughter of Courtney Love and the late Kurt Cobainwelcomed their baby boy Ronin, the skateboarding legend revealed how the new parents are adjusting to life with a little one.

“It’s all a wild ride, so as best they can, but they embrace it,” Tony exclusively told E! News’ Francesca Amiker. “I have full confidence in their abilities, as well.”

But of course the pro skater is there to help because, as he said, “I don’t want to say it takes a village, [but] it definitely takes a supportive family.”

And Tony—who is also dad to kids Spencer Hawk, 26, and Keegan Hawk, 23, with ex-wife Erin Lee, and Kadence Hawk, 16, with ex-wife Lhotse Merriam—and his wife Cathy Goodman—who shares kids Miles and Calvin with ex-husband Matthew Goodman—may be just the team to help Riley and Frances out.

“We’re well-equipped,” Tony continued. “Between my wife and I, we were able to raise six kids, who are all adults now. So we’re pretty confident in our abilities.”

Plus, even though skateboarding has been Tony’s entire life, he has made sure to adjust his priorities as he’s expanded the Hawk dynasty.

“I would certainly hope family comes first,” the 56-year-old shared. “My official job title is ‘pro skater’—it's also the title of our video game—but that is my occupation, my livelihood, my passion ever since I was 10 years old. But family is the utmost important.”

He added, “Now I'm a grandfather, so I understand it from a deeper level.”

And his family values were certainly put to good use when he teamed up with another famous Tony—Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes’ Tony the Tiger—for his newest video game for teens and adults alike, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4

“I grew up eating Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes [and] I grew up playing video games,” the skateboarder explained. “When I got to do my own video game, I really tried to raise the profile of skateboarding through it. Now to include some elements of Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes in the game has been super exciting.”

In the game, out July 11, players can customize player items like their skateboard and clothing to be Tony the Tiger-themed, which makes Tony’s partnership with the cereal brand even more exciting.

“This is really unreal that I get to do this collaboration,” he said. “That we get to do any kind of merch is, for me, just a dream come true.”
