'Tonight" - Chris Jericho confirms huge plans amid rampant WWE return rumors

Chris Jericho has just laid out his immediate plans on social media. This comes amidst great uncertainty regarding his future in wrestling and rumors of his return to WWE.

Jericho has not been seen in the ring since April at AEW Dynasty. Reports have indicated that his contract with the company is up by the end of this year, although a specific date was not stated. This has fueled speculation of him leaving to have another run in WWE.

Chris Jericho recently announced the return of The Winnipegers, and they will have a Christmas special. This was set to air on the same night as AEW Worlds End. The veteran has posted about it on his Instagram Story earlier today, reminding fans that this is taking place tonight, and they will be able to catch him on YouTube.

Chris Jericho is not factored into AEW creative plans

There has not been any indication regarding The Nueve making his way back to AEW. He has been on a hiatus for more than eight months, and his former stablemates in Big Bill and Bryan Keith have long since moved on from him.

It seems that internally, there continues to be nothing about Jericho as Fightful Select has reported that he has not come up in any way in creative booking plans. It was also mentioned that the veteran communicates directly with Tony Khan regarding any ideas he has, but there has been nothing from that end.

This may end up fueling the speculation that Chris Jericho is headed back to WWE. Considering how big of a figure he is within the company and how long he has been away, one would expect some discussions regarding his future in AEW. But this may be the case as he is no longer with the company. Fans should just stay tuned for more information on the matter.
