Tom Brady's ex-teammate calls Justin Fields "booty cheeks" as he accuses Aaron Glenn and Jets of tanking for 2026 draft

Aaron Glenn's New York Jets suffered a 27-14 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 11 on Thursday night. It was New York's eighth loss of the season, virtually putting the team out of the playoff picture.

After the Jets' loss to the Patriots, LeSean McCoy slammed their quarterback, Justin Fields. McCoy, who played with Tom Brady for one season during their time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020, had a sarcastic response when asked if the Jets can continue starting Fields.

"Yeah," McCoy said on the "Speakeasy" show on Thursday night. "I mean, do you guys want the No. 1 pick or not? Y'all playing around, man, y'all need to put on your GM hats on, okay? Forget about the players; you trade away some of your players and you get your draft picks. You're basically trying to blow this thing up."

McCoy, who won the Super Bowl in his lone season at Tampa Bay, also called Fields "booty cheeks" while describing the QB.

"Go out there and maybe get a top-2 or top-3 draft pick and get a quarterback," McCoy said. "And if you wanna do that, you leave Justin Fields in the game, you know why? 'Cause he's gonna do what he does best. Booty Cheeks, doing whatever he wanna do."

Fields signed a two-year, $40 million deal with the Jets in the offseason. Many believed that the QB might get his career back on track in New York.

However, Fields has struggled to lead the Jets' offense. He has posted 1,259 passing yards, seven touchdowns, one interception and four rushing TDs as the Jets sit last in the AFC East with a 2-8 record.

Aaron Glenn's Jets will face the Baltimore Ravens in Week 12 of the 2025 NFL season on Nov. 23. The game will kick off at 1 p.m. ET from M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Ravens are currently second in the NFC North with a 4-5 record. They will face the Cleveland Browns in their Week 11 game on Sunday.

Although Glenn is in his first year, he will want his Jets team to earn a few more wins to potentially end the second half of the season on a high note.
