Tom Brady Celebrates Son Jack's 18th Birthday With Sweet Throwback Photos
Tom Brady is saying hello to a football jersey once again.
This time, however, the former NFL quarterback—who retired from the sport in 2023 after first announcing his retirement in 2022—is set to play in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, a brand-new global flag football event which will take place at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in March 2026, according to Fox Sports.
The event—set to be hosted by Kevin Hart—will feature three teams of current and former football stars including Odell Beckham Jr., Christian McCaffrey, Rob Gronkowski, Saquon Barkley, CeeDee Lamb, Tyreek Hill and more.
And Tom could not be more excited for a chance to take on the storied names.
"I played against a lot of the guys that are playing,” he told the outlet in an interview published Sept. 15, “and obviously have a tremendous amount of respect for them.”
It was even more thrilling for the 48-year-old because he was part of the group that put together the teams.
"It was really cool, the reception that they had,” Tom shared. “Me calling them and saying, ‘Hey.’ Talking to different owners, obviously wanted to call them and say, ‘Hey, I’d love to ask so and so to play.’”

He gushed, "It's just a great opportunity for those players to go over and see another part of the world and to go play a game they love."
And the former Patriots quarterback has no concerns about getting back on the field after retirement.
“It’s like riding a bike here,” he joked. “You know I’ve been doing this thing for 30-plus years. It gives me a good chance to go out there and sharpen my skills.”
And he’s planning to take it all, saying, “I will be bringing home the trophy.”

Still, while he’s excited to get back out there, there have been some positives to his retirement: Namely, that he’s gotten to spend more time with children, son Jack, 17, who he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan, as well as kids Benjamin, 15, and Vivian, 12, with ex Gisele Bündchen.
“I love those little kiddos more than anything,” he told E! News in 2024. “I love spending time with them. They’re the best part of every day of mine.”
The Hall of Famer gushed, “They light up our lives in so many ways. They teach us a lot. They teach us to really be present with them.”
