The feature on a lovely Sunday afternoon card at Plumpton sees in-form pair Mojito Des Mottes and Edelak clash.

The Ben Pauling-trained Mojito Des Mottes confirmed the promise of last season when easily scoring at Newton Abbot last month and he deserves a crack at this better race with the prospect of more to come as he matures with racing.

Edelak has rattled off five wins over hurdles this year and produced an impressive display back in handicap company at Newton Abbot on his last start. The Dan Skelton-trained runner steps up in grade but must be feared with ground conditions likely to suit.

Chris Gordon's Nap Hand recorded a first win in handicap hurdles when comfortably claiming a decent Perth contest and he remains of interest off a seven-pound higher mark.

Premier Tenor has shown ability on both starts to date and could prove tough to beat in this Henners Gallop To Grape-Ness Maiden Hurdle.

Dan Skelton's charge raced a tad keenly when beaten on his first two efforts over hurdles but should be up to winning a maiden and he ought to go close under Harry Skelton.

Gary and Josh Moore saddle Padel Whacker who is related to a few useful types but has failed to fire in two starts to date and might be one for handicaps down the line. Stablemate Raulin should be watched in the market.
