Titans followed Cam Ward draft pick with 6 moves to immediately make him happy

The Tennessee Titans did their 2025 NFL Draft weekend just right.

They knew all along they were taking Miami QB Cam Ward at No. 1 overall.

And once they got Ward, they did everything they could to help him out.

In all, they made five draft picks and one highly intriguing undrafted free agent signing that clearly were made to help Ward and the offense thrive.

Those moves:

  • Pick 4.103: Chimere Dike, WR, Florida
  • Pick 4.120: Gunnar Helm, TE, Texas
  • Pick 4.136: Elic Ayomanor, WR, Stanford
  • Pick 5.167: Jackson Slater, G, Sacramento State
  • Pick 6.188: Kalel Mullings, RB, Michigan
  • UDFA: Xavier Restrepo, WR, Miami

Talk about a fourth-round bonanza there.

Dike, Helm and Ayomanor gave Ward three new pass catchers in the span of 33 picks.

Ayomanor might be one of the draft's steals. He was one of the best players available entering Day 3 after many though he'd go in the second or third round.

Then you've got the expert-level UDFA signing of Restrepo.

Restrepo was Ward's favorite target at Miami and now joins him in Knoxville.

It'll be up to some of the incumbents to help Ward out, too, but if these picks in his own draft class can grow up with him over time, it could be a fruitful time for the Titans.
