If you’re a parent, you know all too well how stressful it can be when your little ones aren’t on their best behavior in public.
One 32-year-old mom’s feisty little tots not only caused her a few extra grey hairs when they were horsing around in public, but they also got her banned from her dentist’s office.
Taylor Nitti is a mom to a 7, 5, 4, and 3-year-old. Like many busy moms do, she often takes her little tribe to appointments with her.
The dentist said “see ya” to this mom’s four kids. Oscar – stock.adobe.comWhile waiting for a routine cleaning, it was one of those days when her kids seemed to have a little too much pent-up energy and were doing typical sibling stuff like bickering with one another over silly things.
The Post reached out to Nitti for comment.
It’s frustrating for everyone when kids misbehave in public. pikselstock – stock.adobe.comThat was just the start of it, as they continued this behavior even after Nitti went back to be seen by her dentist.
Well, after that fiasco went down, the Minnesota mom soon realized she could “never show her face there again,” because she received a letter, yes, a typed-out letter, from her dentist’s office basically telling her that her kids are no longer welcome to the practice.
“In not so many words, saying pretty much don’t bring your kids here with you again. I think their reasons are valid. I’ve brought them to many appointments with me over the past couple of years that I’ve been going to this dentist,” she expressed in a video she posted to TikTok over the loud sounds of her kids playing and carrying on in the background.
“I was already down on my parenting and who I am as a mom and then I got this letter…I literally wanted to cry.”
She agreed that the letter was written respectfully — but clearly it still was a zinger for this frustrated mom, yet many comments on her video loudly sided with the dentist’s office.
“The background noise justifying the letter.”
“Girl you shouldn’t have to be told this. They aren’t babysitters. You should have felt guilty for the noise and disruption at the time, not when you get a nice letter.”
This mom isn’t the only one getting punished for her kids’ rather normal behavior.
Parents in NJ are outraged over the fact that they could be held “accountable for public disturbances caused by” their children and could potentially go to jail for 90 days if their kids are found guilty.
The law was passed in late July in Gloucester Township.
