The Timberwolves recently made a bold move to acquire LaMelo Ball from the Hornets, forming an intriguing duo of Anthony Edwards and Ball.

They might not be done either, as they're potentially eyeing a signing of one of the biggest stars available this summer.

The Athletic reported that the Timberwolves are in the mix for teams showing interest in free agent LeBron James.

Now, most teams will try to target the all-time great, but the Timberwolves are an intriguing team for LeBron, as they have two all-star-level guards already.

They may not be the favorite to land him, but they'll certainly give their pitch to get him, as they try to craft a roster that can bring home Minnesota's first-ever NBA title.

It would require more work than just adding James, but he could certainly help the team draw interest from other free agents who would take contracts on the cheaper side.
