Ricky Rubio isn't retiring after all.
The legendary Spanish point guard wrote a farewell message in June on social media.
But now he has signed to continue his career in Spain with Joventut Badalona, according to Penya.com.
Rubio hasn't played in the NBA since January 2024. He finished that season in Spain playing for Barcelona, but he sat out this past season for mental health reasons.
Now, Rubio returns to the organization where he started his professional career in 2005 as a 15-year old.
Rubio went from Baldona to Barcelona in 2009, then was the fifth overall pick that year by the Timberwolves.
