Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards had unfathomably bad 4th-quarter stats in Game 1 loss to Thunder

For the Minnesota Timberwolves to upset the Oklahoma City Thunder, Anthony Edwards will have to be special.

In the fourth quarter Tuesday night, Edwards wasn't even ordinary.

Edwards attempted one field goal the entire fourth quarter even as Minnesota trailed and needed its leader to lead a comeback charge.

He didn't get to the line or score a single point.

Additionally, Edwards had two turnovers, meaning he gave the ball to the other team more than he attempted a shot in one of the weirdest quarters of his career.

The Thunder's tenacious defense likely played a large-scale role, too.

Regardless, though, Minnesota won't be able to win without more firepower up and down the lineup.

Edwards pretty much has to be the leader of a turnaround..

If he doesn't shoot the rock in the fourth quarter, OKC might as well hang 'em up.
