Thunder or Spurs? One key issue could determine who Knicks match up better with in Finals

Here we are again.

For the third straight series, the Knicks are sitting back and waiting to learn who their next opponent is. Their second consecutive sweep — dismantling the Cavaliers to reach the Finals for the first time since 1999 — means they will have eight days of rest before Game 1 of the Finals, just like they had before Game 1 of the conference finals.

It won’t be until either Thursday or Saturday night that the Knicks will learn whether they are playing the Thunder or Spurs in the Finals.
