Capacity for 36 people? Check. A total of 11,500 square feet of secure underground space? Check.

A need to escape the threats of the world? This might just be your saving grace.

In Indiana, an underground bunker — a cavernous space fit for a crew of survivalists — is available for $2.75 million in cash, reports Media Drum World.

Its location will only be disclosed to qualified buyers upon non-disclosure ratification and proof of funds, but is stands in the northern part of the state, some two hours from Chicago and four hours from Detroit. What’s for certain, however, is that it has everything anyone can need to live through the end of days.

The Patmos Underground Bunker Facility features the comforts of a roomy communal kitchen with cherry cabinets and two refrigerators, as well as 10 bedrooms. Occupants can also enjoy a comfy living area with room for artwork and a small library.

But for a real nightmare scenario, there’s a trauma medical room capable of handling emergency procedures. There’s also $100,000 worth of 25-year freeze-dried food storage purchased in 2021 and meant to feed every occupant for extended periods of time. (Ensuring longevity of the food, climate-controlled settings don’t hurt either.)

There’s even an embassy-grade internal vault for any high-value assets, such as cash, firearms or cryptocurrency cold storage keys, according to the bunker’s web page.

“In the event of violent unrest, sabotage to critical infrastructure and regional grid failure, cities like Chicago, Indianapolis and Detroit will quickly descend into chaos,” says its website. “Without electricity, essential services vanish almost instantly. Law enforcement and National Guard units are overwhelmed by violent gangs, cartels and warlords who seize control … In this environment, safety and security become scarce commodities, and only those with a secure, fortified refuge will have the means to protect their families and assets.”

If this all sounds like your welcome escape, it stands behind blast-resistant and ballistic-rated doors. And if there’s a nuclear war, the bunker has full fallout shelter capabilities.

What’s more, there’s also room for future enhancements. The outlet notes those can include a 40-foot fortified tower, expanded solar power and external food production systems. For bedrooms, the space can accommodate up to eight more bedrooms.

It’s all on 5.36 acres along a small river.

“The facility represents not just security, but a deliberate, thoughtful investment in long-term survival and autonomy,” according to the marketing. “As society becomes more vulnerable to collapse, those who act now to secure a self-sufficient, well-defended haven will be the ones who thrive.”
