The Meulti's Backrooms Minecraft mod can be installed using any mod loader that supports Fabric/Forge/NeoForge/Quilt. For this guide, we have used CurseForge and its mod loader, with Fabric running on the game version 1.20.1.

Here's how you can download and install the Meulti's Backrooms Minecraft mod:

1. Visit the Curseforge website and download the official launcher if you do not have it installed already. Once done, log in and register with your linked Microsoft account.
2. Navigate to the top bar and search for Meulti's Backrooms mod for Minecraft by Meulti. Alternatively, you can click on this link to head to the mod page directly.
3. To install the Meulti's Backrooms mod manually, click on the black Download button on the right side of the screen. Once the ZIP file has been downloaded, drag and place it in the mods folder of your desired instance's directory.
4. If you do not have Minecraft with Fabric installed or are new to installing mods and APIs, it is recommended to use the Curseforge launcher to make the installation process seamless.
5. For installation using the Curseforge mod loader, click on the orange Install button with the anvil logo on the right side of the Download button. Players spawn in a normal world where they can teleport to the backrooms using many hidden methods. The most popular method is to suffocate by placing blocks above the player's head. Once the suffocation begins, they are transported to level zero of the backrooms.

The goal of Meulti's Backrooms Minecraft mod is to survive each level and reach the next. Each level contains many horror mobs, elements, and jump scares that affect the player's sanity. Once the sanity is low enough, gamers will get status effects such as blindness, slow speed, and hallucinations. These make it even difficult to navigate the area, adding a new dimension of challenge.
