While Korean beauty brands have become popular for skincare (so much that Amazon opened its own storefront), my latest obsession is makeup — Peripera’s brand new Ink peel-off lip stain, to be specific.
For October Prime Day, the long-wearing beauty is a mere $8, about the same cost as a latte.

PeriperaThe lip stain did not dry my lips, as many have in the past, and I woke up the next morning with a still-rosy, luscious pout — which I love. The first night I tried it, after using black cherry (because I have the patience of a gnat), I tried peanut rose on top, and the color combo is so pretty, deep, and multi-dimensional.
It has a mildly sweet scent and dries quickly. I tend to pile it on my lips, which can get a little gloppy, but in my experience, a thick coat is what makes it peel off easily.

After letting it sit for 10 minutes or less, I roll off the color (like you would a peel-off face mask), then dab a damp tissue to remove any stuck bits. My favorite color is black cherry, with peanut rose a close second; I have yet to score the third shade.
My go-to combo is to apply a clear lip balm on top, and it is really a stunning look! (It also doesn’t settle into any of the little vertical lines, like some colors can.) It’s a pretty, sheer wash of color that just brightens up the whole face and lasts through dinner and even hot tea.
