"This is getting out of hand" - Fans react as alleged manager of actress tied to BTS Jungkook recent allegation denies rumour, demand action from HYBE

On Thursday, November 13, following the viral controversy around BTS' Jungkook and his alleged relationship with a South Korean actress, the alleged manager of the actress, @qazwsxzzzzz, addressed the rumors through Instagram comments. Under a post that has been circulating on Instagram about the alleged actress from the viral photo of Jungkook and a girl outside his apartment, the alleged manager commented the following:

"No, even a chimney that hasn’t been lit can still produce smoke, huh.” said the manager

The comment alluded to a commonly used idiom or phrase in Korea, meaning that one shouldn't jump to conclusions merely based on superficial signs. Therefore, fans and netizens understood that the manager was shutting down rumors and denying them since they were baseless and far-fetched. The response from the manager shortly followed hate trains were passed towards the actress by a few netizens and supposed fans of BTS' Jungkook.

For those who are unaware, previously, a photo of Jungkook and a girl entering the idol's house landed on the internet. The face of the girl was linked to a South Korean actress, and soon people began to spark dating rumors between the two. However, several ARMYs soon came to his and the actress's defense, stating that the photo was AI-created due to its mismatched features and suspicious blurriness.

Regardless, the hate towards the actress failed to decrease since there was no clear confirmation or denial from Jungkook's agency, HYBE Labels. Following the recent response from the alleged manager of the actress linked to the rumours, many fans also called HYBE for its unresponsive nature towards the allegations, especially since several parties have been harmed and involved with the same.
