John Harbaugh and the Baltimore Ravens failed to secure a victory over the New England Patriots at home on Sunday. They had an 11-point lead in the fourth quarter.
However, Harbaugh and his team fumbled this lead, which cost them the chance to go on a two-game winning skid. After the final whistle, fans on social media heavily criticized the coach and demanded his firing.
"John Harbaugh needs to be fired, all he does is blow leads, and waste Lamar years," one fan commented.•

John Harbaugh gotta go after this choke job.. you have Henry sitting on the bench with a 3 point lead… give the ball back to a hot Patriot offense.. and of course they march right down the field for a TD. Idiots. #Ravens
As long as John harbaugh is the head coach of the Baltimore ravens, this team is full of losers. They’re losers. Pathetic. Feckless. Losers
And please for the love all things right and proper, remove John Harbaugh from the Ravens. He's a cancer.
Just fire John Harbaugh tomorrow. Don’t let him finish the year out… this is embarrassing! I don’t even know how he comes back next year.
The Ravens took an early lead in the game after Derrick Henry scored a 21-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter. However, Drake Maye's TD and Andres Borregales' field goal, followed by Tyler Loop's field goal on the other side, leveled the playing field to 10-10 at halftime.
Zay Flowers and Derrick Henry both scored touchdowns to put the Ravens in a comfortable spot. However, in the fourth quarter, Drake Maye found WR Kyle Williams, followed by a two-point conversion attempt gave the Patriots a fighting chance.
Running back Rhamondre Stevenson's rushing touchdown and Borregales' extra point conversion sealed the win for the Patriots.
Skip Bayless calls out John Harbaugh for disappointing home loss to the Patriots
After the game, Skip Bayless did not mince his words while criticizing John Harbaugh and the Ravens' Week 16 performance.
He also stated that the franchise needed a new coach at the helm and hinted that the Ravens should fire Harbaugh.
"Whatever happened to the Baltimore Ravens' home-field advantage? They're 3-6 at home this season. Maybe it's time for a new voice, a new motivator, a new head coach. Maybe it's time for John Harbaugh, who was so good for so long, to change scenery and start fresh elsewhere," Bayless tweeted.Since taking over the team in 2008, Harbaugh has led the team to glory just once during Super Bowl XLVII. Last season, they qualified for the playoffs but lost to the Bills in the divisional round.
Following this Week 16 clash, the Ravens are now 7-8, sitting in second place behind the Steelers in the AFC North.
