British-Canadian fighter Jake Peacock is competing this weekend in what he considers his biggest match to date in ONE Championship. He looks to savor every bit of it in the company of his family.
The 32-year-old limb different Peacock, who has a missing forearm, which did not fully grow while he was still in the womb, is part of ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri on Nov. 16 at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan. He is to face Thai Suakim Sor Jor Tongprajin in a bantamweight Muay Thai collision.
In an interview with ONE Championship, Peacock shared that he is bringing along his family for the event to experience all the festivities and share quality time with them.

"Part of coming here was to bring my family so they can experience a ONE event. Back home, there’s always so much going on, but here it’s simple – train, recover, and enjoy time with them. It’s perfect."Jake Peacock joined ONE Championship last year and has been undefeated in his first two matches in the promotion. His most recent win came in February, where he stopped Japanese Shinji Suzuki by TKO in the third round.
Jake Peacock views match at ONE 173 with a lot significance
Jake Peacock believes his fight at ONE 173 is no doubt a step in the right direction as far as his professional career is concerned.
He highlighted it in an interview with the South China Morning Post, sharing how as a fighter he always wanted to showcase his skills on the biggest of stages like the one he has on hand.
The Dunamis Muay Thai affiliate said:
"I'm absolutely thrilled just for the opportunity to fight. I'd fight in my backyard if I had to. But to fight in Japan, even better. ONE 173 is absolutely stacked. I love Japan. I love to fight. All things are going in the right direction."At ONE 173, Jake Peacock is facing an opponent in Suakim who has won his last five matches and looking to further fortify his push in the promotion.
