WNBA training camp is underway, and NCAA women's basketball fans are going to see some familiar faces popping up on social media.
During the WNBA Draft on April 14 three former South Carolina Gamecocks were drafted into the league: Bree Hall (Indiana Fever), Te-Hina Paopao (Atlanta Dream), and Sania Feagin (Los Angeles Sparks), but the trio aren't the only alum who are going to be present at training camp this week.
Including the three rookies, South Carolina has sent 12 players to the WNBA so far:
- Laeticia Amihere - Golden State Valkyries
- Aliyah Boston - Indiana Fever
- Kamilla Cardoso - Chicago Sky
- Zia Cooke - Seattle Storm
- Sania Feagin - LA Sparks
- Allisha Gray - Atlanta Dream
- Bree Hall - Indiana Fever
- Tyasha Harris - Dallas Wings
- Mikiah Herbert Harrigan - Dallas Wings
- Tiffany Mitchell - Las Vegas Aces
- Te-Hina Paopao - Atlanta Dream
- A'ja Wilson - Las Vegas Aces
While there's no guarantee that each rookie will make their respective team's roster this year, the odds are pretty good based on South Carolina's track record so far.
