While the New England Patriots season came to an end after 17 games in 18 weeks, others made the postseason and have been competing for a chance to hoist the Lombardi Trophy at the end of the playoffs.
Over the weekend, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans and the Buffalo Bills downed the Baltimore Ravens to set up an AFC Championship Game between the top two seeds.
On the other side of the bracket, the Washington Commanders upset the Detroit Lions and the Philadelphia Eagles eliminated the Los Angeles Rams to set up an intriguing NFC Championship Game.
With these two matchups this upcoming weekend, the Patriots will have a number of former players, coaches and front-office personnel representing them with their new teams.
