The undeniable two-prong St. John’s roster-building trend

It has become clear that Rick Pitino and St. John’s have focused on two distinct areas in formulating next year’s roster: size and experience. 

The Johnnies have so far landed five new players, and all of them are big for their position.

Of the quintet, only 7-foot Serbian Lazar Stojkovic is young, at 18 years of age. 

Next season’s starting point guard, British floor general Quinn Ellis of the EuroLeague, is 23.
