In October 2025, BTS's Taehyung was announced as the latest ambassador of the Japanese skincare brand, Yunth. Following the same, the brand had recorded massive commercial success, showcasing a growth of 200%. According to the Japanese Media Korepo, as reported on December 17, Yunth has achieved three accomplishments.
The in-store sales of the Yunth products at stores such as LOFT, PLAZA, etc., increased its profits by 200% in comparison to the month before the ambassadorship with the BTS idol. The major sales from the in-stores came from the Raw VC Brightening Serum, which sold out across Japan. Additionally, the pop stores made a record-breaking achievement of the brand's highest-ever sales.
Fans of Taehyung were reported to have sold out Yunth's Cosme TOKYO event's reservations, and the stores experience a daily queue of 200 to 300 people, despite the current brutal winter. In terms of social media exposure, the brand's mention increased by 332 times before ambassadorship with Taehyung, and currently holds global engagement from fans speaking English, Korean, and Thai.
This eventually led to a boost in the brand's name-specific and bulk purchases across the globe. Therefore, the ambassadorship has now fueled Yunth's rapid growth in the market and transition into a global D2C skincare brand. When this news landed on the internet, fans and netizens were beyond proud of the K-pop idol's impact and influence in the industry.
