You wouldn’t blame Jeremy Ruckert if he wanted to purge the past two Aprils from his memory. 

On April 25 of last year, the Jets drafted Mason Taylor, a talented tight end out of LSU, with the 42nd overall pick in the second round. 

This past April, the Jets drafted dynamic Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq with the 16th overall pick in the first round. 

Where would that leave Ruckert, who was drafted in the third round of the 2022 draft, with the team using high picks in the past two drafts to pick players at his position?
