A brief recap of The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 episode 4

From Belly taking up other jobs to Jeremiah joining his dad's company as an intern, their efforts to make the wedding work are explored in the latest episode. Meanwhile, Taylor and her mother are seen grappling with impending debts and salon issues.

As the fourth episode progressed, Belly felt lonely working on her wedding without her mother. Jeremiah drops by her house as a birthday surprise, and he decides to speak to Laurel about the issue. While Jeremiah tries to convince her of their marriage, she does not change her mind, which leads to a bitter fight between her and Belly. The latter then leaves the house and goes to Cousins with Jeremiah.

To their surprise, they find Conrad staying at the summer house. Further, Jeremiah finally confronts Conrad after he dodged calls since the wedding announcement. On being asked to be Jeremiah's co-best man, Conrad does not agree and expresses how he found the wedding 'ridiculous.' This upsets Jeremiah and Belly.

However, when Conrad finds Belly crying the next day, he changes his mind and agrees to be the co-best man, suppressing his feelings for her. This delights the couple, but puts Conrad in a difficult spot.

On the other end, Steven informs Taylor about her mother's difficult situation, which may not make her eligible for loans. This pushes Taylor to cancel her New York internship, taking the tough decision to stay back and make her mother's salon work.
