SPIRE Academy [Geneva, OH] continues to occupy the top position in the latest edition of The Sporting News High School Boys Basketball Top 25.
The frontrunners from Ohio have head-to-head wins over No. 2 AZ Compass Prep and No. 3 Brewster Academy on their resume, and they can add a solid win against New Jersey's Bergen Catholic on Thursday night in the Garden State's Metro Classic.
The rest of the Top 5 is unchanged with No. 4 Link Academy and No. 5 Dynamic Prep holding down the final two positions.
Only one new team joins the list this week with Dallas's Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy replacing California's Salesian College Prep after the latter's loss to unranked St. Joseph last week.

After a week off, SPIRE Academy heads to New Jersey this coming weekend for three games at the Metro Classic.
2. AZ Compass Prep National [Chandler, AZ] Dragons
2025-26 record: 14-1
Previous ranking: No. 2
Upcoming games: 1/29 — vs. CATS Academy; 1/30 — vs. Christ School
AZ Compass Prep will also head to the East Coast for the Nike EYBL Western Maryland Classic where the Dragons are scheduled to face CATS Academy and The Christ School. AZ Compass Prep's only loss to date is to No. 1 SPIRE Academy.
3. Brewster Academy National [Wolfeboro, NH] Bobcats
2025-26 record: 19-2
Previous ranking: No. 3
Upcoming games: 1/28 — vs. New Hampton School; 1/30 — Northfield Mount Hermon; 1/31 — Springfield Commonwealth Academy
Brewster Academy is coming off a 139-44 win over Reason Prep of Massachusetts, and the Bobcats' only losses to date are to the two teams ranked ahead of them.
4. Link Academy [Branson, MO] Lions
2025-26 record — 15-2
Previous ranking — No. 4
Upcoming games: 1/29 — vs. La Lumiere; 1/30 — vs. CATS Academy
After a 14-0 start, Link Academy was off last week, but they'll be back in action at the Nike EYBL Western Maryland Classic this weekend against La Lumiere and CATS Academy. The Lions' two losses have come against No. 2 AZ Compass Prep and No. 3 Brewster Academy.
5. Dynamic Prep [Irving, TX]
2025-26 record: 16-1
Previous ranking: No. 5
Upcoming games: No games scheduled this week
The huge winter snow storm that engulfed much of the eastern half of the United States wiped out Dynamic Prep's scheduled visit to the Quincy Shootout in Illinois, but the Texans did add a win last Thursday night in a 91-64 decision vs. Leadership Prep.
6. Calvary Christian Academy [Fort Lauderdale, FL] Eagles
2025-26 record: 17-1

Calvary Christian Academy picked up two wins last week against Highlands Christian and Somerset Academy Key with the start of Florida's postseason a week away.
7. Prolific Prep [Fort Lauderdale, FL] Crew

Upcoming games: 1/31 — vs. Columbus
Prolific Prep swept three games at the Grind Session Crush in the Valley event last weekend in California, and they'll be in Illinois this weekend for more Grind Session action.

One week after defeating Top 25 Dream City Christian National in Dayton, Ohio's Flyin' to the Hoop Basketball Invitational, Wasatch Academy struck again, this time taking down No. 6 CIA-Bella Vista in a 75-48 rout.

St. John's first week as a ranked team here in SN's Top 25 was successful with solid wins against Saint John Paul the Great Catholic and Our Lady of Good Counsel. Games against DeMatha and current Top 50 St. Frances Academy could determine if they can hang around on this list next week, too.
22. Fishers [IN] Tigers
2025-26 record: 16-0

Upcoming games: 1/30 — vs. Franklin Central; 1/31 — vs. Carmel
Fishers is still undefeated and ranked No. 1 in one of the top high school basketball states in the country. Indiana's frontrunners will have to keep on winning if they want to continue climbing this list in the near future.
23. East Lansing [MI] Trojans

Upcoming games: 1/27 — vs. Williamston; 1/30 — Everett
Michigan's No. 1 East Lansing is also sporting an unblemished record as January comes to a close, and the Trojans get two chances this week to add to their 14-0 record.
