Spice Girls’ Victoria Beckham, Mel C Send Love to Mel B After Missing Her Wedding

If you wanna be a Spice Girls fan, you gotta get with this reunion.

Three members of the girl group—Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Melanie "Mel C" Chisholm—stepped out to show their support for fellow alum Victoria Beckham at the Oct. 8 premiere of her new self-titled Netflix docuseries in London.

And while the "Wannabe" singers didn't pose all together on the red carpet, they certainly made the event a family affair.

After all, Emma—a.k.a. Baby Spice—was joined by her 18-year-old son Beau Bunton Jones, who she shares with husband Jade Jones. Meanwhile, Geri, or Ginger Spice, posed alongside her husband Christian Horner and their 11-year-old daughter Olivia Horner

Plus, Mel C—who went by Sporty Spice while the group was active—coordinated with her boyfriend Chris Dingwall in black suits for the occasion.

And of course, Victoria lived up to her Posh Spice nickname by rocking a chic all-white getup in photos with her husband David Beckham and three of their four kids: Romeo Beckham, 23, Cruz Beckham, 20, and Harper Beckham, 14.

Notably absent from the premiere? Remaining Spice Girl member Melanie "Mel B" Brown, who also went by the moniker Scary Spice

But that's not to say the singer doesn't keep in touch with her bandmates. In fact, Geri previously revealed that they all catch up regularly in a texting group chat.

"We love each other. I love them, I care about them, we want the best for each other," she told The Sunday Times in March. "We shared something so monumental. We’ve always believed in each other, had trust in each other, which is beautiful."

Ultimately, Geri hopes that ongoing support can translate into making music together again someday. As she put it, “My hope is we come back together as a collective. It’s more respectful to come as one."

She added, "There will be something."

GEM

In 2016, Melanie Brown, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton announced a spinoff trio called GEM. A single titled "Song for Her" leaked online, but the project was evidently put on hold around the time Halliwell announced her pregnancy with baby No. 2.

Friendship Never Ends

Cue the pandemonium! All five Spice Girls sent social media into a frenzy with this photo posted in February 2018.

They responded to the excitement in a joint statement, saying, "We have enjoyed a wonderful afternoon catching-up and reminiscing about the amazing times we have spent together. We are always overwhelmed at how much interest there is across the whole world for The Spice Girls. The time now feels right to explore some incredible new opportunities together. We all agree that there are many exciting possibilities that will once again embrace the original essence of The Spice Girls, while reinforcing our message of female empowerment for future generations."

Reunion! (Again)

After announcing in late 2018 that four of the five Spice Girls would be reuniting once more for a tour—Victoria sat this one out to focus on the commitment to her fashion empire—Geri, Emma and the Mels began a 13-date European tour at Croake Park in Dublin, Ireland on May 24, 2019. Concluding with three nights at London's Wembley Stadium, the tour earned over $78 million, proving that Girl Power never goes out of style.
