The Airwrap i.d. also adds smart features to the experience. It connects to the MyDyson app through Bluetooth and can create a personalized styling routine based on your hair and the look you want. For anyone who has struggled with figuring out how long to curl each section or how much heat to use, those guided features can make styling much easier.

After trying multiple renditions of Dyson tools, I also like that the Airwrap can take the place of several separate styling tools. Rather than reaching for a blow dryer, curling iron, straightener and round brush, I can use one device and swap out the attachments depending on the style I want.

Of course, $519 is still a lot to spend on a hair tool. I wouldn’t recommend buying one simply because it’s on sale. But if you’ve already been thinking about investing in an Airwrap, I think this is a much better time to buy it than paying the full $650.
