The Rock has reportedly made an incredible amount of money since returning to WWE. The Brahma Bull is currently on TKO's Board of Directors in addition to his career in Hollywood as an actor.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Live, The Great One has made roughly 80 million dollars since returning to the promotion. The journalist added that the number doesn't include profits from merchandise and live appearances, meaning that he has likely made even more.
“I haven’t calculated what Dwayne’s probably fixing on—80 million dollars over… this will be the end of the second year of that deal. Because he signed that deal on… was it January 3rd, 2024? Right. So two years—80 million dollars, roughly. Unbelievable. Not even including his merch money. Not even including his WrestleMania and live appearance pay. Which were probably adding like several more million," he said. [Ringside News]Spoiler on Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes - Check Here!
The Rock hasn't appeared on WWE television since aligning with John Cena after he turned heel at Elimination Chamber 2025. Cena tapped out to Gunther in his final match last week at Saturday Night's Main Event.
John Cena comments on The Rock disappearing from WWE TV
John Cena recently shared his thoughts on The Rock not appearing on WWE television after they formed an alliance at Elimination Chamber 2025.
Speaking with Cody Rhodes on the What Do You Wanna Talk About? podcast, Cena noted that if Travis Scott and the 53-year-old stuck around, he would not have gotten to have several moments with other stars during his retirement tour.
"Let's walk down the hypothetical street. Let's say everyone who showed up at the Chamber is active until August. That robs us of John Cena-Randy Orton, that robs us of John Cena-CM Punk, John Cena-Ron Cena, John Cena-AJ Styles, John Cena-Logan Paul, me and you for the last one, mano a mano. So yes, the story that might have been might have had star power, and gravity, and who knows what, but what we got by just being like 'these are the pieces left.' What we got, for me personally, was beautiful."“Hey you have The Rock and Travis Scott” “Hey you don’t have those two guys anymore” 😭 John is so funny 🤣 🎙️ What Do You Wanna Talk About ft John Cena
It will be interesting to see if WWE has any plans for The Rock on the road to WrestleMania 42 next year in Las Vegas.
