In a world where fantasy football prowess is the ultimate goal, and years of blunt-force effort and manual-spreadsheet craftsmanship have fallen behind, we turn to a man whose fantasy madness knows no bounds, whose mission to achieve dominance borders on robotic.
We look to this madman to provide us guidance through the sea of numbers and stats and data, to make sense of everything from ADOT to YAC to air yards. Making sense of the madness was maddening, even for our Madman. So for the first time, he sought some outside help, but not from some other fantasy maniac. He went, instead, to a machine.
The Madman and the Machine have teamed up to create the first cyborg version of the treasured Draft Value Quotient, or DVQ — the new Alpha on the fantasy scene. The DVQ Alpha is the newest, bestest, betterageous rating system — which shows where in the draft a player’s projected production meets draft-pick value.
