Anthony Guidera, best known for his role in “The Godfather III,” died on Saturday.
He was 65.
The actor has been on life support since collapsing in his Southern California residence in May, TMZ reported Tuesday.
His cause of death remains unknown.
Guidera is survived by wife Valarie, who told the outlet her late husband was hospitalized last month after his heart stopped.
To honor his previous wishes, Guidera was taken off of life support after three weeks and brought home, where he passed away over the weekend.

Valarie, who welcomed one son with Guidera during their time together, noted that doctors do not know what caused her partner’s sudden demise.
Guidera’s first acting role was in the third installment of “The Godfather” as a bodyguard named Anthony.
He went on to have roles in “The Rock,” “Armageddon” and more movies over the years.
His onscreen kiss with “Species” co-star Natasha Henstridge earned him an MTV Movie Award in 1996.
He was last onscreen in 1999 as a gun seller in “The Annihilation of Fish.”
