Rivalite has a 3.33x multiplier, which is the highest out of all the other ores belonging to the Epic category. Consequently, it has an exceptionally low drop chance, forcing players to use potions and totems to increase their Luck stat while farming these ores.

How to mine Rivalite in The Forge

Rivalite ores can be obtained from Basalt Veins and Volcanic Rocks. While Basalt Veins are available in the Ashen Passage and Volcanic Depths sub-locations of the Ruined Cave, the Volcanic Rocks are exclusively found in the Volcanic Depths.

You'll need either the Lightite, Magma, Arcane, or Demonite pickaxe to break a Volcanic Rock. However, to break a Basalt Vein, you just need a tool with a Mining Power of 78 or above, such as the Mythril Pickaxe.

A Rivalite has a 1 in 569 drop chance from the Volcanic Rock and Basalt Vein. To improve the odds of getting it, increase your Luck multiplier.
