The first step in Aaron Glenn’s new Jets mission is a simple one

It has never been easy being a Jets fan, especially now, especially after you learned this week that a full-blown rebuilding project would be underway 47 seasons after Super Bowl III. 

Aaron Glenn cannot predict when he might field a team that Jets fans can be proud of, and everyone knows this 1-7 team isn’t that team. 

So another “Wait till next year” has arrived before Thanksgiving. 

The future is not now, and was not now even before Sauce Gardner was jettisoned to the Colts and Quinnen Williams was jettisoned to the Cowboys. And will never be now until Glenn and GM Darren Mougey find the franchise a franchise quarterback.
