The best-dressed celebrities at the Oscars 2026: Teyana Taylor, Jessie Buckley, Rose Byrne and more

In terms of both fashion and film-industry prestige, it all comes down to the Academy Awards.

Stars always save their most spectacular dresses for Hollywood’s biggest night, and Sunday’s Oscars 2025 red carpet definitely delivered on the glitz and glamour.

Bold color was a welcome trend on the step-and-repeat, with “Hamnet” nominee Jessie Buckley looking glowing and gorgeous in pink-and-red Chanel, “Sentimental Value” star Renate Reinsve showing some leg in lipstick-red Louis Vuitton and Kate Hudson stealing the show in jade-hued Giorgio Armani Privé (accessorized with $35 million in green diamonds, as one does).

Other A-listers flocked to feathers; Teyana Taylor and Nicole Kidman both opted for Chanel gowns trimmed with dramatic plumage, and Demi Moore looked pretty as a peacock in green Gucci.

And several stars showed us a subtler way to wear florals on the red carpet, like Rose Byrne and Mikey Madison (both in blooming Dior) as well as Elle Fanning, whose custom Givenchy gown featured delicate tone-on-tone wisteria embroidery.
