The bad luck continues: Evan Mobley suffers another injury that stalls the Cavs' momentum

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been superb as of late, finally reaching their potential as a top team. They looked like they were ready to go on a lengthy winning streak, but it appears they might come up short due to Evan Mobley's injury.

They were on a good winning streak amid Darius Garland's absence, but it appears that they will have even bigger issues now that Mobley is sidelined for a while.

The Cavs' bad luck continues with Mobley's injury

The Cavaliers have been on a roll recently, as they are currently on a four-game winning streak. It has been an excellent stretch, which has involved Mobley playing his heart out.

Donovan Mitchell has been the superstar, but Mobley is close behind with his overall impact on both ends of the floor. Unfortunately, the Cavs will be missing that for the next few weeks.

Throughout the season, the Cavaliers have been dealt a bad hand with injuries. They have used plenty of starting lineups, which has led to some issues with consistency.

"Mobley will begin treatment and is expected to miss approximately 1-3 weeks," The Cavaliers said in an official statement.

The Cavs need to get it together and adjust without their star big man. Jarrett Allen is there to cover the frontcourt, but Mobley is such a game-changing big man that Allen can be good, but not good enough for the Cavs.

It will be a challenge for Cleveland, but head coach Kenny Atkinson will make adjustments. He has already done so throughout this season, and he will continue to do it moving forward.
