The Buffalo Bills can't get past the hump of the Kansas City Chiefs.
This might be the year, though, due to one particular statistic.
The number in question: Air travel miles.
The NFL released every team's scheduled air travel distance for the 2025 NFL regular season. The Bills fly 10,546 miles for away games, the second-lowest mark in the entire league.
The Chiefs? They fly 21,695 miles.
The Bills entirely avoid cross-country road trips.

Seven of their eight road games will be played in the Eastern time zone: Atlanta, Carolina, Cleveland, Houston, Miami, New England, Pittsburgh and the New York Jets.
They also head to Houston to take on the Texans.
The Chiefs open the season in Brazil against the Chargers, contributing to much of their air travel total.
They also get their divisional games in Las Vegas, Denver and Los Angeles, in addition to a trip to Dallas and a trip to New Jersey to play the Giants.
The Bills will be hoping Kansas City also has to fly north to take on the Bills at Highmark Stadium in January. And this time, maybe Buffalo can finally get the job done.
