College Football's week 4 'game of the week' starts early with a Noon kickoff. Texas at Tennessee will be only the fourth time these teams have faced each other and the first time in 57 years. While this is billed as No. 1 taking on No. 14, the fans of these respective programs might see it as something bigger.
This game has reignited the 'who is the real UT' debate. A win by Tennessee would even the all time series. As for this matchup in particular, it could come down to Tennessee's running game vs Texas' defense. Earlier in this young season, Texas beat then No. 1 ranked Ohio State. Holding their rushing to under 100 yards and at only 3.0 yards per carry.
"They've got really good schemes. They're committed to it, and they've got good players," Sarkisian said. "They've got a good O-line, an elite left tackle. They've got good runners."
Another subplot will center around Arch Manning. Can the legacy quarterback notch a signature win against an SEC ranked opponent and look good doing it? If he is to realize the expectations ahead of him, beating Tennessee-his uncle's team, could be a big bullet point in his Texas career.
