All of a sudden, the Houston Texans have a lot of wide receivers.
It may make sense to trade one for draft capital, writes Bleacher Report's Matt Holder.
His idea? Trade away John Metchie III, the former second-round pick out of Alabama.
"The Texans already brought in several veterans to help with the offensive line, and they have a strong roster," Holder writes. "At this stage, it might make more sense to consider a trade that benefits the team in the future rather than getting an immediate return. Metchie is entering a contract year and will likely be buried on the depth chart in Houston. However, the 2022 second-round pick has plenty of talent and could be an intriguing option for a team that needs wide receiver help, creating an opportunity for the Texans to get something for a player who will likely ride the bench this fall."

Metchie was the 44th overall pick in 2022.
He's coming off his best season, when he had 24 catches for 254 yards and a score.
Overall, Metchie has 40 catches and 412 yards in 29 NFL games.
Metchie turns 25 on Friday, July 18. And his career could be jumpstarted by a move to a new team.
