The Houston Texans were set to be on the clock with the No. 25 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. However, they traded out of the spot and landed a huge haul in return from the New York Giants.
The Giants are sending picks No. 34, 99, and a 2026 third-round pick to Houston in exchange for the No. 25 pick. The Giants used the No. 25 pick to select quarterback Jaxson Dart.
Houston has been loading up on picks this offseason from NFC East teams, as they landed a haul from the Washington Commanders in exchange for left tackle Laremy Tunsil. The Texans will not be picking in the first round unless they end up trading back in, but it appears their night is over.
