As CIO, Ishak will lead Teranet’s enterprise technology strategy, overseeing enterprise architecture, application development, information security, infrastructure, business intelligence and technical services. He will champion a customer-centric approach to technology modernization, leveraging data, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to create more connected, intuitive and secure experiences for customers. As the role of the CIO continues to evolve, Ishak will help shape not only Teranet’s technology strategy, but also the future of the business by aligning innovation with customer needs, operational excellence and long-term growth.

Ishak brings more than 20 years of experience leading enterprise technology strategy and transformation across the financial services, insurance and government sectors. Prior to joining Teranet, he served as Chief Information Officer at FCT, where he led complex technology modernization initiatives that supported business growth, operational excellence and customer experience. He is recognized for aligning technology strategy with business objectives while building high-performing teams that deliver secure, scalable and innovative solutions.

Ishak holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree and is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario. He is a Distinguished Certified IT – Chief Architect through The Open Group and was recognized with the 2025 Futurist Toronto CTO Award from CXO Inc. for his contributions to technology leadership and innovation.
