Telugu Titans' Head Coach Krishan Kumar Hooda was completely emotional after their victory over Patna Pirates in the Pro Kabaddi 2025 Eliminator 3. With this win, they secured a spot in Qualifier 2. They beat the Pirates 46-39 on Tuesday, October 28.

Krishan Kumar Hooda was in tears after the historic win for the team. Telugu Titans qualified for the Playoffs for the first time since Season 4. Moreover, they will be playing a Qualifier for the first time in the history of the league. The Titans are now just two games away from winning their maiden title as well.

"The team played very well. We had qualified after nine seasons and now we are going to play the semifinal. We will play do-or-die. The team has done wonders. No one thought Telugu Titans would do this. I am very happy. I am very emotional to see this day. Everyone would think the team will come and go, and we will score two points against them. Telugu Titans will now face Season 10 champions Puneri Paltan in the second Qualifier. The match will be played on Wednesday, October 29, at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium, Delhi.

Puneri Paltan were the table toppers after the league stage. They have been consistent right from the start of the season. The Titans will have to be at their very best to beat Puneri Paltan. They have faced the Paltan twice this season. While they faced a defeat the first time, they settled scores with a win in the second meeting.

Telugu Titans will back themselves after two solid victories in the Playoffs so far. However, it will be a challenging task for them if they are to win their maiden title. They will have to beat the top two teams of the league. The winner of Qualifier 2 will face Dabang Delhi in the final.
