Téa Leoni and Tim Daly Marry in New York Wedding

The McCords have made their romance official offscreen.

Téa Leoni and Tim Daly, who played husband and wife Elizabeth McCord and Henry McCord on the CBS series Madam Secretary from 2014 to 2019, have tied the knot after 10 years of dating, her rep confirmed to People July 14.

The on and offscreen couple said their vows in an intimate New York ceremony with only their immediate family in attendance.

Tim, 69, and Téa, 59, met when the political drama began—despite attending the same private high school 10 years apart—and started dating by the end of 2014, the same year that Téa finalized her divorce with her husband of 17 years, The X Files actor David Duchovny.

While they kept their relationship under wraps in the beginning, they were spotted at the opening of the Broadway show It Shoulda Been You in April 2015 shortly before publicly launching their romance on the red carpet at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, D.C.

In March 2024, Tim—who shares kids Sam Daly, 41, and Emelyn Daly, 36, with ex-wife Amy Van Nostrand—spoke out about their relationship, sharing, "She's a miracle."

"I never thought that I would experience something like that at my age and I'd sort of come to terms with maybe being alone or maybe being in some kind of casual thing that wasn't really too demanding and then we met and it all changed," he said on the Really Famous with Kara Mayer Robinson podcast at the time. "It's the deepest, most fun, most truly intimate relationship I've ever had."

He continued to share that while his relationship with Téa—who shares kids West Duchovny, 26, and Kyd Miller Duchovny, 23, with David—might have been unexpected, he's so grateful to have her in his life.

As he put it, "It's a profound relief to be able to be your entire self and know that someone is not going to blame you or try to change you."
