Taylor Swift’s dad, Scott, recovering from heart surgery with singer by his side

Taylor Swift’s dad, Scott Swift, is recovering from heart surgery.

Scott, 73, underwent quintuple bypass surgery over a month ago, a rep for the pop superstar told TMZ Wednesday.

Taylor, 35, her brother, Austin Swift, 33, and their mom, Andrea Swift, 67, were by the patriarch’s side from the operation through the recovery process.

Scott is doing well and feeling fantastic, according to his daughter’s rep, who made sure to note that the procedure was not the result of a heart attack.
