Some bad blood is lingering.
After his “Bussin’ With the Boys” podcast co-host Will Compton’s rant, Taylor Lewan is the latest to speak out over being snubbed from Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding, which occurred over the Fourth of July weekend at Madison Square Garden.
After seeing the guest list that consisted of over 1,000 people, the 34-year-old former Tennessee Titans offensive lineman went on a rant on Tuesday’s episode.
Taylor Lewan addresses his snub from the Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift wedding bash on his podcast Tuesday.Initially, Lewan said he felt “all good” about not receiving something in his mail.
“Dude, there’s so many people!” Lewan said before calling out the attendees he didn’t recognize, including two-time World Cup winner Alex Morgan and “Saturday Night Live” alum Bowen Yang.
The shock led to him recording a voice message, asking how the “discussion” unfolded regarding not inviting himself or Compton. Lewan revealed what he said on the podcast, but never sent it to Kelce.
“I am so happy for you … could not be more excited for you and your beautiful wife,” Lewan said in the since-deleted message. “I just want to know what was the thought process for inviting people because I’m seeing a lot of individuals here and am wondering how it all happened breaking it all down. Hope you’re good.”
Lewan went on to clarify that he wasn’t “taking away” anything from how “amazing” the wedding likely was or the people attending. He also said he wasn’t sure if he “would have gone, so it’s all good.”
He started questioning to question the snub after asking how many people The Garden holds.
“So what you’re telling me is I’m not top 9,500 in Travis’ life? He doesn’t have 9,500 [people] in his phone,” he said.
Lewan and Compton have been pictured with the couple since the two got together in 2023. The podcast also posted a picture on Instagram over the weekend, congratulating the two on tying the knot.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tied the knot at Madison Square Garden Friday. Getty ImagesAnd once he heard Fox Sports analyst and former NFL refereeing czar Dean Blandino was there, Lewan said “Is this a personal shot that Will and I are taking?”
“Yo, we’re boys; I’ve known you for over 10 years,” Lewan ranted on. “We text and call each other. I’m gonna take the high road but I’m just thinking, dude, I’m clearly doing something wrong in our friendship, clearly something wrong. … There’s clearly a blind spot I’m not seeing.”
Lewan’s comments come just a day following Compton speaking up on “Wake Up Barstool”, saying he was “kinda flabbergasted” over the invites.
“All of these photos I keep seeing. I see Dean Blandino got an invitation? Is that real?” he said.
