Tarik Skubal trade talks heating up as Tigers field offers with deadline nearing

Teams are starting to exchange offers with the Tigers for the market’s one superstar, two-time Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal, who’s almost sure to move.

The Dodgers are viewed as the favorite but the Rays, Brewers and Braves are seen as real players, and the Phillies, Cubs and Red Sox might be, too.

The Yankees checked in on Skubal, but the rotation isn’t their focus.

Some are speculating young Reds star pitcher Hunter Greene could be traded. That still seems like a bit of a long shot though.
