The suspected murderer who dropped dead while trying to dump his girlfriend’s body in the woods got a well-deserved dose of karmic retribution, according to the victim’s brother and the local sheriff.

Daniel Robbins, 44, was found dead last month in a wooded area in Chambers County beside the body of Jessica Folds, 47, with autopsies later showing he appeared to drop dead from a heart attack while dragging the body of the mother of three, who’d been strangled.

Folds’ brother, Jason Walters, called it a classic case of karma, telling TMZ: “The lord works in mysterious ways.”

Chambers County Sheriff Jeff Nelson similarly told the outlet that if Robbins did die the way they suspect, he was “ultimately tried and judged by the man above.”

“If you’re a believer, that’s the only way you can look at it,” the sheriff said.

He said Robbins suffered from heart disease, and that it appears the physical and emotional toll of killing his significant other was more than his afflicted ticker could bear.

Authorities believe Folds’ murder was the result of a domestic dispute, but it was not known where the strangulation took place.

The bodies were found just a few miles from where the murdered mom lived, and about 125 miles from Robbins’ home in Macon, Georgia.
