Suspect in Vancouver festival attack ID’d as Kai-Ji Adam Lo, 30, after at least 11 killed, dozens more injured

The suspect accused of fatally mowing down 11 festival attendees when he plowed through a crowd of people at a block party in Vancouver was identified as local man Kai-Ji Adam Lo, authorities said Sunday night.

Lo, of Vancouver, is facing eight counts of second-degree murder so far after his alleged rampage at the Lapu Lapu Day festival – celebration of the Filipino community – Saturday night.

The 30-year-old was arrested at the scene by authorities and was “known” to law enforcement and mental health care professionals before he allegedly carried out his deadly attack, Vancouver police said.
