The NBA world knows a Kevin Durant trade is coming, but just not where/what it will be yet.
We have gotten some reports on the possibilities of a deal, but nothing is set in stone.
The Suns have been looking to find a trade suitor for KD and might be moving on from these two players as well.

Who could be traded away with KD in a trade?
A trade might require more teams than just the Suns and the team receiving KD.
With many teams in NBA paying tons of luxury tax money, trades like this might require bringing in a team with more cap space, to take on salary.
Trading away Durant's contract could dump some of the money the Suns have had to pay, and they may look to move more contracts to pay less on their luxury tax bill
Jake Fischer of The Stein Line reported that Grayson Allen and Royce O'Neale are contracts that could be sent away in a Durant deal or after one.

From what we have heard, it doesn't sound like the Suns want to do a full rebuild and want a solid return in a Durant deal to build around Devin Booker.
At the same time, they want to take in less salary than they are trading away.
In the 2024-25 season, the Suns had the second-highest luxury tax bill in the NBA.
They are currently projected to have the highest bill for the incoming season.

Considering they didn't make the playoffs and still lead in this category, they have to make some moves to at least pay less if they aren't getting the team production they hoped for.
Grayson Allen and Royce O'Neale are easily insertable rotational players on any team, so it shouldn't be hard to move their contracts.
From what it sounds like, at this time, their time in Phoenix could be coming to an end as the Suns restructure their roster this offseason.
