Sunny Hostin Slams Trump On ‘The View’ For His “Unpresidential” Response To The No Kings Protests: “We Have A President Throwing Feces On The American Public”

Sunny Hostin is calling out President Donald Trump for his head-turning response to the No Kings demonstrations that swept the nation last weekend.

On this morning’s episode of The View, the ladies played a clip of Trump telling reporters that he’s “not a king” and that he “works [his] ass off to make our country great.” The POTUS, however, also posted an AI video of himself flying a fighter jet that reads “King Trump” as it dumps mounds of feces on American protesters.

“I think that Trump’s reaction to the protest is evidence of the success of the protest,” Hostin said during the first Hot Topics segment of the day. “He’s very concerned about size, especially crowd size. And he said, ‘It was very small. Very, very small.’ Seven million people. It’s actually the largest protest in modern American history.”

While Hostin has long been a critic of Trump, she was still surprised to hear his “unpresidential” response to the marches.

“What I was really struck by is how unpresidential he is,” she said. “It was striking to me that he is using profanity when he is speaking to the press corps, and an AI video of feces on United States citizens.”

Hostin wished our country could “go back” to the days of former President Barack Obama’s “tan suit-gate,” which had Republicans up in arms over the fact that he wore a tan suit to speak in a press conference. Now, she feels as though everyone is “desensitized” and has “normalized” Trump’s behavior.

“Everyone was so angry about how unpresidential it was that Obama wore a tan suit,” she said. “Now we have a president throwing feces on the American public and the Republicans are like, ‘There’s nothing to see here.’”

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
