The “Scamanda” saga finally comes to a close tonight with Summer House: The Aftermath, a bonus Summer House episode aiming to tie up loose ends following the Season 10 reunion.
Amanda Batula and West Wilson turned the Bravo universe on its side earlier this year when they confirmed rumors that they were dating. Following their lackluster performance at the reunion and inability to shed more light on how and why their relationship came to be, production picked up cameras to capture more intimate conversations between the controversial figures and their Summer House counterparts.
In the episode, Batula shared more about the start of her relationship with Wilson, revealing that he often invited her out with his friends and that, for the first time in a long time, she felt loved in a relationship again. Wilson, for his part, said that while he hasn’t explicitly told Batula he is “in love” with her, he has loved her for a “very long time.”
But that doesn’t necessarily mean his commitment-phobic self will be able to give Batula what she wants in the long run. In fact, it sounds like Wilson might still have a wandering eye. Keep reading for everything that was said in Summer House: The Aftermath.
Did West Wilson already cheat on Amanda Batula?
West Wilson and Amanda Batula confirmed at the Summer House Season 10 reunion that they began exclusively seeing each other after releasing their joint statement on March 31. However, it sounds like Wilson might be having a hard time remaining faithful to Batula (a shock to no one) in light of his breakup with Meija Moreno, whom he was secretly dating exclusively at the time he and his Summer House co-star struck up a romance.
Lindsay Hubbard revealed in Summer House: The Aftermath that Wilson slept with Moreno in March, which was after he and Batula had kissed for the first time. “He cheated on you, and cheated on her,” Hubbard pointed out, to which a tearful Batula agreed, “Yeah.”
Later on in the episode, Moreno met up with Ciara Miller at the model’s apartment, where she claimed that she and Wilson still talk on the phone. Per Moreno, they had a six-hour phone conversation after he finished filming the reunion.
“It’s still hard for me to fully disconnect. I still have feelings there. This was such a 180 bombshell for me. Those don’t go away overnight,” Moreno said, sharing that they talk over the phone instead of text because of Batula. Moreno claimed she also urged Wilson to attend his cousin’s wedding in Italy, only to later find out that he had brought Batula as his date. “You going with Amanda is a fuck you to everyone involved, and it’s such a fuck you to me who’s been taking your phone calls and trying to understand you,” Moreno added.
So, has Wilson been faithful to Batula? While he claimed at the reunion that he has been committed to their relationship ever since they dropped their joint statement confirming their romance, I do find it odd that he’s still reaching out to his ex-girlfriend for hours-long phone conversations. It would not be shocking if his and Batula’s relationship started to fizzle out after this episode airs.
Is West Wilson returning to Summer House?
No, West Wilson is not returning to Summer House next season. TMZ reported the news earlier this week, with a source claiming Bravo decided not to renew Wilson’s contract for Season 11. Wilson confirmed as much in Summer House: The Aftermath when he said his “time on-camera is over.”
