“Such a sincerely kind heart”: Fans react as BTS’ Jin reveals Taehyung was crying backstage at RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR ENCORE Day 2 

On Saturday, November 1, BTS' Jin rolled out the second day of his encore concert as part of his first solo world tour, RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR. During the same time, Taehyung and Jimin made special appearances at the concert. Taehyung not only performed his solo track, Love Me Again, but also put forth a collaborative stage with Jin and Jimin as they performed various BTS tracks such as So What, My Universe, Idol, and Spring Day.

Following the performances, Jin went backstage and returned along with Taehyung, who was teary-eyed. The idol soon revealed that Taehyung was crying backstage since he missed performing in front of ARMYs as a group, and a nostalgic moment made him emotional. Therefore, he brought him back on the stage so that Taehyung could see and talk more to the ARMYs in the audience.

As Taehyung continued to cry, Jin cheered him up and also urged ARMYs to help with the same. After the idol calmed down, he stated the reason why he got emotional was that he missed watching ARMYs at concerts. Jin continued to state that he can see more such scenarios when BTS goes on tour, and comforted him by explaining that it's okay to cry when things get overwhelming.

Towards the end, Taehyung also shared a few thoughts about BTS's concerts and how he used to enjoy their shows alongside ARMYs. Here's what he said:

Following the end of his first solo world tour on August 10 in Amsterdam, several fans and netizens expected it to be the conclusion of the tour. However, in the first week of October, the idol made a special announcement of his two-day encore concert at the Incheon Main Munhak Stadium.

The event took place on October 31 at 6:30 PM KST and on November 1 at 7 PM KST, and the idol sang many of his solo tracks from his two albums, Happy and ECHO. He also invited a few BTS members for special performances on both days. On October 31, Jungkook and j-hope made a guest apperance as they performed their solo tracks, Standing Next To You and Killin' It Girl.

The two also later joined the idol for a collaborative performance of BTS tracks such as So What, Idol, My Universe, and more. Jungkook and j-hope also took positions as the backup dancers for Jin's Super Tuna stage. On November 1, Taehyung and Jimin were invited, and the two joined the idol for a similar collaborative stage where they performed BTS tracks like Idol, Spring Day, etc.
